Sometimes, you have to start over to realize just how far you’ve come. Today, I did that with the new Tomb Raider, playing through the first hour or so just two nights after finishing my first playthrough. While word on the status of a Star Trek sequel has remained (coyly) up in the air, J.J. Abrams has at least shed some light on as to when fans can expect to start to expect something. Yesterday, MTV managed a brief interview with the Lost creator in which he claimed to have met the film’s writers, stating, “We had [an]…endless meeting and I think we’ll have something to talk about very soon.” (more…)

Christmas is over, the presents are opened, the cookies eaten. It is now time for reflection.
The end of the year is quickly approaching and, while Team Unwinnable will soon be celebrating the best 2010 had to offer, we want to kick off the last week of the year with a catalog of the very worst things we had to suffer through. Here, then, is the best of the dreck:

Lately, I have been on the look out for new T-shirts. This came about because of two simultaneous discoveries. The first was that I could no longer wear my favorite T-shirts in public without feeling the shame that accompanies being mistaken for a homeless person. The second was that almost all of my T-shirts are black. I needed new shirts and I needed them in a variety of bright colors.
