Astonishing X-Men #51

I wanted to read Astonishing X-Men #51 to see just how Marvel would approach same-sex marriage. And given my recent foray into the world of homosexuality and comic books, I wanted to make sure to review it as well. So how does it fare? I think Marjorie Liu does a great job of capturing the realities – as heartbreaking as they can be – about homosexuals and their quest for equality. (more…)

The Mighty Thor #8

In the aftermath of Fear Itself, Tanarus replaced Thor as the god of thunder. No one remembers Thor either, save for Loki (who struggles to remember his brother’s name).
