Mark’s Commentary:
I love the structure of this page. I think the two large panels at the top and three small bottom panels is a great layout. We have a heavy action moment followed by a heavy emotional moment. I didn’t know much about comic theory when I drew this page. I still don’t know much about it now, but I’m picking up more and more as I study comic pages and re-read my own comics. I’ll think about theory sometimes now when I create, but most of the time, I just draw what looks cool to me. Slicing a Latcher Demon in four pieces is definitely cool.
