Today in 1962, Dr. No was released. Since then there have been over 22 James Bond movies and six different people have played the character. It is almost like Doctor Who. What are you doing this weekend?
Stu Horvath: I don’t have time to come up with anything witty to say. Borderlands 2, The Walking Dead, XCOM and Dishonored are all demanding to be played. Oh, to have Simon Belmont’s pocket watch.
Chuck Moran: Friday, I am going to see the Afghan Whigs and the Eagles of Death Metal. I’m pretty psyched – it should be fun. Saturday I am going to my high school reunion. I will use the story from Max Payne 3 as a template for what I have been doing with myself since graduation.
John McGuire: This weekend I am going to see Hotel Transylvania, reading comics and eating BBQ. Party.
Ian Gonzales: Ah, the weekend! I will celebrate Octoberfest on a roof and spend the rest of the weekend prepping for NYCC next week. It’s gonna be a hoot!
Dave Trainer: This is the first weekend in a LONG time I have totally off. So friends, lets party.
Don Becker: Setting up my new Windows 7 laptop, letting my dog roam around my completely fenced-in backyard and running the Liz Padilla 5K. Great cause, great race.
Matt Marrone: Resting and relaxing on Friday and Saturday, the calm before the Yankees’ postseason storm.
Ken Lucas: I plan on taking a long walk off a short pier. If that doesn’t work out, then I think I’m going to do a little ghost hunting.
Gus Mastrapa: I will be attending my first IndieCade on Saturday. Sunday night my World of Warcraft group will reconvene and attempt to beat Pandaria’s first dungeon. Last time we were murdered by bunnies.
Erik Weinbrecht: I will be basking in the sun in Florida and taking in all of the awesomeness Disney World has to offer along with an early Halloween celebration.
Mark Mariano: Funerals and then on Sunday I’ll be drawing comics for 24 hours from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m. Monday. Tune in at any time right here on Unwinnable or on MyPalMark.com.
Brian Taylor: Gonna dance my beard off at a wedding, maybe play some of The Dig for Jenn Frank’s unaffiliated game club, and have Sunday dinner with my family.
Steve Haske: I am going to read. And possibly play board games. If not I will drink a beer and cook.
Richard Clark: Wedding rehearsal dinner tonight. Wedding tomorrow. I go to a lot of weddings. This one will be nice.
Sam Machkovech: Methinks my honor may be…dissed this weekend. Also, I will attend a bachelor party consisting of putt-putt and board games. Hopefully, someone will bring Alien Frontiers or Catacombs, two of my fave board games as of late.
Brendan Keogh: I will probably play Borderlands 2 far more than I should and work on my deadlines far less than I need to.
