Mark’s Commentary:

BOOM! Valerie is gone.

When I first wrote the script for this chapter, Valerie nearly escaped the claw missile of Arcadia. But when I started penciling this final page of “Endgame,” the claw missile was a direct hit. Once the page was drawn, I thought to myself, “Should I do this? Should I blow up Valerie?” Well, you see the answer before you.
