		<description><![CDATA[In reading your summary of the movie (now I gotta go watch it again, thanks) and the parallels you draw to the underprivileged, I can&#039;t help but see a connection in perspective. A young Kirk has the bravado to re-rig a rigged game. Maybe the difference between those that can force their way through a crappy life and end up succeeding versus those that can&#039;t is the idea that something is possible. If you are convinced that you simply can&#039;t hack college (or a trade, college is not the only way to live comfortably) and the best you can do is barely survive, then you&#039;ll never attempt to improve your lot in life. At best, you&#039;ll put in an effort and have your doubts confirmed at the first failure. 
 
Yeah, I have to agree. Damage control is not the only option. ]]></description>
