The universe is aligning itself again. Today is not only the birthday of Neil Patrick Harris, it is also the 25th anniversary of the animated gif file.
Stu Horvath: Maybe now I can actually play a game instead of watching them from afar and writing about them…then again, maybe not.
Chuck Moran: I am really glad this week is over. This weekend I am going for a walk, a wedding and a whale watch. Probably will play more of Shadows of the Damned.
John McGuire: Weddings, booze and money.
Don Becker: Heading to Philadelphia, land of cheesesteaks, Yuengling, my father-in-law (Happy Father’s Day!), and the last-place Phillies.
Garrett Martin: Band practice and Father’s Day and maybe a videogame for the first time in weeks.
Matt Marrone: After working eight of the past nine days, I am going to Block Island. Don’t call, don’t write. See you Monday, world.
Ken Lucas: After a week of debauchery in Los Angeles, I think I’m going to take it easy this weekend. I’ll probably continue my quest in I Am Alive and get in some much needed R&R.
Brian Bannen: Saturday class means no fun for this guy. But as I don’t have students any more, my time will be way less stressful and I can give more attention to BioShock; I’m preparing to go through both 1 & 2 as I await BioShock Infinite.
Michael Edwards: Shows, a birthday party, and a wedding!
Mark Mariano: More painting in the basement… Wait! Am I really done painting in the basement? Yes! I think I am! I WON’T be painting in the basement. Happy Fathers day, y’all.
Steve Haske: I’m heading up to Seattle! I finally get to see Avengers and Prometheus. Also booze. Look out, ladies.
Chris Dahlen: I’d better get something good for Father’s Day, is all I’m saying.
Jenn Frank:I am writing this email to you from a smartphone on an airplane. I am flying to L.A. I will be in L.A. all weekend, as two of my best friends are finally getting married to each other. I’m really nervous, though, because many of the wedding guests will be soap stars. I borrowed some dresses to wear.
Katie Williams: Starting my birthday celebrations a fortnight early by hanging with my favorite San Franciscans. After Monday, you may instead forward all well-wishes and ice cream cake to my isolated island nation of Australia.
Richard Clark: Lots of time to myself. Babysitting. Maybe I will see a movie! Father’s Day will be nice and depressing, I will not be alone for that.
Sam Machkovech: The very fab Cincinnati band Wussy makes a rare Seattle stop this weekend, so I’ll be there w/all of the other Jayhawks/Posies fogeys. Also seeing Stephen Hawking “talk” on Saturday. Battlefield 3’s new map pack will fill out the hours in between, because I can’t bring myself to play another minute of Lollipop Chainsaw. What a beating that thing is.
Brendan Keogh: Watching the fifth season of M*A*S*H. All of it.
