Mark’s Commentary:
As a writer, you have to dissect your plot. Ask yourself the questions that the audience may ask, like, “Why can’t they contact this Dr. Finkus character?” And you have to try and put all the answers into the story so there are no questions from the audience. It gets tough from time to time, but it’s a fun challenge. The only question some of the younger readers may have is, “What is a pay phone?” Those things are disappearing super fast!
