Mark’s Commentary:
Maybe I didn’t realize this when I was scripting this page, but when I was drawing it out, it was abundantly clear. This page was totally inspired by the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. There was this awesome fight scene in April O’Neil’s apartment where Casey Jones and the Turtles take on the Foot Clan. During the fight, April’s boss calls and leaves a message, informing her that she’s fired. Casey hears the message as he’s beating down the Foot. Of course, the message Lincoln hears here is way more important! A cure for zombism? YAY!
This weekend is the New York Comic Con and my table will be packed with goods. My 24-hour comic, ESCAPE INTO COMICS!, will be on sale for $1.
