Of Men and Monsters

When I was a kid, I loved monsters. Real, mythological, completely imaginary, it didn’t matter. Whether it was Star Wars cantina aliens or He-Man or what have you, the monsters were always center stage – the weirder the better. And when the toys weren’t enough, where better to turn than to Dungeons & Dragons? I got my first D&D book (Monster Manual II) in the fourth grade, not for any real desire to play, but because of the pictures of monsters, most of which I had never heard of. This was new, unplumbed territory. It’s all been down hill since then. Adulthood, and the disposable income that comes with it, only made things worse. I now have a respectable collection of vintage D&D toys and D&D knock offs.
I also have a camera, so as to share these things with you.
